More than one thousand students from 15 countries came to Ufa, capital of Republic of Bashkortostan in Russia, to exchange their experience in student art and to strengthen cultural and humanitarian ties between their nations.
The Festival is divided in five parts, such as Second BRICS and SCO Youth Forum, Univervision international contest, Miss Spring Queen. Students had prepared and performed national art shows in Art Hall, young journalists participated in Media Spring forum whereas everyone was able to visit Russian Cinema pavilion.
“BRICS & SCO Student Spring Festival is a unique project. It enables young people from all over the world to exchange their experience in business, public diplomacy, journalism, and art. Such events are very significant as they help to expand horizons of young people”, – noted Pavel Krasnorutskiy, Chairman of Russian Union of Youth.
The organizers also invited famous politicians, journalists, singers, and public figures to participate in the Forum as experts, moderators, and honored guests.“Our city becomes a vibrating and lively place as it fills with young people not only from 15 countries of the SCO and BRICS but Russian regions, too.
Student Spring Festival broadens horizons in every way, geographically and mentally”, – said the Minister of Youth Policy and Sport of the Republic of Bashkortostan Andrey Ivanyuta.
Founders and Organizers of the Festival are the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, All-Russian public organization “Russian Union of Youth”, Government of the Republic of Bashkortostan, Ufa State Petroleum Technological University.
